The "Fatherbook"
Hi, I am Mr. 6. Since 2017, I've been putting my time and energy into helping divorcing or divorced fathers through family transitions—especially those facing parental alienation, false accusations, and post-divorce trauma. I founded Help Fathers Foundation (HFF), now a registered charity in Canada, to bring together more volunteers with different skills and life experiences to support fathers. Most of our volunteers are neither fathers nor male.
Our only way of raising funds is by selling “The Fatherbook”—a 330-page textbook written to explain how fathers think, why they face certain challenges, and how they view the world. The book is mainly written for divorce-related professionals, who often play a key role in deciding whether a father gets fair parenting time after a divorce. We are asking for the public’s support to help this book reach more professionals across the country and around the world. We are also inviting more fathers to contribute their own chapters to make the book more complete and more up-to-date.
This is only our first year. We have many more to come—years that we hope will bring more happiness to fathers, their children, their extended families, and even their ex-spouses.
